Steve often tells us that he is "humbled and amazed" at what the Lord does with 'broken people' (referring to himself) who trust in Him. All of us who are associated with Steve's music ministry are uplifted and affirmed when we receive letters and e-mails that recount how Steve's music has touched others and brought them closer to the God we all love. Dear Steve - I live in Gulfport, MS. As you know, we were hit hard by Hurricane Katrina and it has been a very difficult time for all of us in southern Mississippi. It is so sad and depressing to see the devastation the storm caused and the many lives it literally ruined. Yesterday, I received your CD in the mail, opened it and played it. I'm not a very religious person, but this CD was the most soothing, uplifting music I've heard in years. I listened to the entire CD and loved every song, especially "He Is There". Steve - I have been entering all of my Christmas CD's into iTunes, then playing them on "shuffle" during the Holiday season. I think I have about 25 hours of Christmas music now. It wasn't until the singer started singing that I realized the song was "Baby King". It was the only song among all the other talented singers in my collection that gave me goosebumps.
